Kids Club/Village Pre-School
The Village Kids Club (OfSTED Inspected and Registered) runs a pre-school nursery each day. In addition to this, they offer a breakfast and after-school club each day as well as a kids club in the school holidays.
Operating from a separate entrance adjacent to the church gate, the pre-school feels very much a part of our school family, even though it is independent of the school. Pre-Schoolers use the school premises regularly and become familiar with the surroundings and school staff, making it an ideal choice for transition into our Reception class. Pre-school are often VIP guests at our school performances and the May Day dances.
We have strong links and relationships with the staff, children and parents of this fabulous resource. The children at pre-school enjoy using our school facilities within their learning time.
Children attending breakfast and after school clubs also have an excellent experience. The Kids Club staff see children to their classrooms in the mornings (to make sure they are settled) and collect the children they are looking after from their classrooms, after school. The children have fun in either the preschool room, or an area next to that but within our school setting.
